The Regulative Principle and Infant Baptism

Inspired by the blog 22 Words by Abraham Piper.

People who hold to the Regulative Principle and believe in infant baptism should be called Sola Oxymoronics.

Quite right. Sola Traditiona is more common that we would like to admit.

The regulative principle includes all of Scripture, so you're now allowed to ignore the OT or Col 2:10-12 when discussing infant baptism. ;)

Odd, Colossians 2:10-12 doesn't mention infant baptism at all. I don't think it even is talking about water baptism at all.

Seth - There's an easy way around this for us paedobaptists. Just say the regulative principle is crap :).
