Bill Clinton says "I'm a Calvinist"

I saw this over at Irish Calvinist and still have no clue what Clinton means when he says this. Take a look and give me some ideas, because I am stumped. But this does come from the same guy who "did not have sexual relations with that woman"...sooooo...

  1. He's referring to the Protestant work ethic, as particularly exemplified by the hardworking Scottish Presbyterians (Calvinists).

    If you think about the context of the conversation I would think the ex-President meant "chauvinist". But I like Turretinfan's explanation better.
